Conservation, biodiversity, and climate change have been Mrs. Paaby's recent work areas, particularly mainstreaming these issues into long-term planning processes of local governments and territorial conservation offices, based on climate change, adaptation, and risk reduction and control. Mrs. Paaby has worked in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia, Bolivia, and Venezuela, interacting with professionals in engineering, social anthropology, economics and finance, environment, and administrative fields, all of which have given her experience working in multidisciplinary groups and allowed me to acquire interdisciplinary skills. Mrs. Paaby's professional background, together with her work experience, strengthens her ability to participate in the processes of introducing the “ecosystem approach” to biodiversity conservation, climate change, adaptation, and assessments of their impact on the society in general.CV
